Work Programme
Each year the
Director
prepares the draft Work Programme of the Agency for the following year and submits it to ACER's
Administrative Board
for adoption.
Before adopting the work programme, the Administrative Board consults the European Commission. The
Board of Regulators
must also give its approval on the regulatory chapter of the ACER Work Programme. When it has received the European Commission and Board of Regulators' inputs, the Administrative Board adopts, before 30 September each year, ACER Work Programme for the coming year.
After adoption, the Administrative Board transmits ACER Work Programme to the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union and the Commission. The Work Programme is thereafter made public.
As of 2017 it is mandatory for European Agencies to present their Annual Work Programmes according to the format of the Programming Document for EU Agencies.
