3rd ACER - ENTSO-E Public Workshop on the Long Term Flow-Based Allocation
What is it about?
The EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) and the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E) are having a public workshop to provide an update on the progress and methodologies related to the long-term flow-based allocation process. The workshop is also a chance to discuss the long-term flow-based capacity allocation approach in the Core and Nordic Capacity Calculation Regions.
Context:
Following the 1st public workshop on the flow-based long-term capacity calculation and allocation (27 January 2022), ENTSO-E published the draft High-Level Market Design document.
A 2nd public workshop was held on 24 May 2022 which addressed the optimisation function of the long-term flow-based allocation.
The 3rd workshop on 29th September will be an opportunity to provide an update on the process, actual work on the amendments of allocation methodologies and to address further concrete proposals by stakeholders regarding the long-term capacity auctions.
This public workshop will:
- update on the long-term flow-based allocation (LTFBA) process and methodologies;
- address stakeholders proposals and questions;
- seek further stakeholders' input.
