The ACER report on key developments in the electricity wholesale markets report presents the main results of monitoring the EU electricity wholesale market in 2023 and recommends further actions to foster its integration.
Following an extensive consultation with stakeholders on improving REMIT data reporting, ACER publishes today the updated Transaction Reporting User Manual (TRUM) and its Annexes, as well as the updated FAQs on REMIT transaction reporting.
The dataset provides economic parameters for new electricity resources, including estimated capital and operational costs for different power generation technologies and demand-side flexibility.
On 21 July 2026, ACER received a proposal from all nominated electricity market operators to amend the methodology for the price coupling, continuous trading matching and intraday auction algorithms. ACER will decide by 21 January 2027.
