III.2.25.

Are market participants allowed to register as RRMs (e.g. via subsidiary companies) and report their own standardised contracts executed at organised marketplaces?

Answer: Market participants cannot report details of transactions concluded at organised marketplaces by themselves, regardless of whether they register as an RRM or not. It follows from Article 8(1a) of REMIT that it is the organised marketplace that should report such details.
The exception being TSOs whom can be both market participants and organised marketplaces. A TSO could be registered as an RRM and thus report the transactions stemming from e.g. a capacity auction it is hosting as an organised marketplace to which the TSO would also be a party to the transaction.
